I know it can be hard to think of new healthy dinner ideas. You get in this routine where you’re making the same thing over and over again until you just can’t stand it anymore. You start to get tired of eating the same thing and this can eventually lead to you straying from your goals. My one tip that can help change a boring meal into something tasty is, SPICES! Spices bring great flavor and variety to your boring everyday meals. Seasoning is everything when it comes to eating healthy. I mean, who wants to eat bland chicken for lunch and dinner 7 days a week? I know I don’t want to do that. I’m going to share with you my favorite dinner ideas that help me stay consistent and never bored!

Protein Pasta With Ground Turkey
This is one of my absolute favorite dinner ideas. I make this one night during the week and I have lunch and dinner leftovers for about 3 days, it’s amazing! I use 93% ground turkey for this, however, any percentage is fine just watch the fat intake. I use your basic canned Marinara sauce and Barilla protein pasta. The Barilla protein pasta is plant based protein and seriously taste just like regular pasta. You can use whatever type of pasta and pasta brand you want. However, I would suggest sticking to a plant based pasta or lentil based, due to this being a healthier option. Of course, you are more than welcomed to dress it up with some spices! I use your basic black pepper, sea salt, and garlic powder.
Salmon Burger With Sweet Potato Fries
If you have never had a salmon burger, I suggest trying it right now! It is so good! You can typically find salmon burgers pre-made at your local grocery store with the rest of the seafood. For the bun part of the burger, I would suggest looking for Arnold Multigrain Sandwich Thins. This is a much better alternative to regular buns. You can pair them with whatever you like, but I like homemade sweet potato fries. I bake the sweet potato fries in the oven instead of frying them and they are amazing. This also goes great with green beans on the side! And again don’t forget the spices, especially on the fries!
BBQ Chicken Flatbread Pizza
This is a great option when you are craving pizza, but don’t want the calories from it. There are many healthy flatbreads out there, but my favorite is by the company Flatout. They have different flavors you can choose from also. For the sauce part, I would recommend either doing a marinara base or an olive oil base. For the cheese, I would suggest either only using 1 cup of regular cheese or using dairy free cheese. The cheese part of the pizza is what can really bring the caloric count up due to the fat. My last suggestion for this would be, pay attention to the BBQ sauce you use as well. Many BBQ sauces contain high fructose corn syrup in it and we want to avoid that as much as possible.
Zucchini Lentil Pasta With Chicken
I was super skeptical when I tried this due to the pasta being frozen and I try to shy away from frozen meals, however, this was so good! The zucchini lentil pasta is from the company called Birds Eye. They have different flavors like cheese and olive oil. I really like the cheese one, especially paired with chicken. This is a super fast and easy meal due to it being frozen. You throw it in the microwave for 2 minutes and it’s ready to eat! I would definitely recommend this to someone who needs to eat quick.
Honey Garlic Chicken With Brown Rice
This meal is so simple, but so tasty! I’m usually pretty boring with what I eat, it’s your basic chicken and rice meals. I discovered this after I started to get tired of the same tasting chicken day after day. It needs exactly what the name calls for, honey and garlic plus soy sauce. Of course, any other spices will work just fine, but honey, garlic, and soy sauce are the main ones. This goes great with rice and green beans!
Firecracker Chicken With Brown Rice
This meal is great if you like a little kick with your dinner. I love spicy food and this does not disappoint. For this you will need, brown sugar, hot sauce, soy sauce, olive oil, and garlic. You can also add any other spices you want. This goes great with rice and green beans, especially if you drizzle some of the sauce on them!
Ground Turkey Taco Bowl
This is one of my absolute favorite meals, especially when I’m craving Chipotle and Moes. I would recommend using 93% ground turkey or 99%. The main ingredients you need for this is taco seasoning, ground turkey, and rice! You can add whatever extras you want, for example, cheese, lettuce, avocado, and tomatoes!
